Rhombus is back with "Treat You So Right single and music video ahead of a brand new album their first release in over a decade.

“Treat You So Right” featuring TK Paradza and Lisa Tomlins is a heavyweight tune from Rhombus Studios in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. TK and Lisa bring sublime vibes to this one, cutting singalong melodies over that signature Rhombus dub and soul sound. Big tune.

The track was released on digital and 7” vinyl in early April 2022 generating respect from some of the most renowned DJs in the world of dub and reggae. A classic black and white music video paying homage to London sound systems premieres this Friday 13th May. The video is Directed by Sarah Hunter from Transmit who most recently crafted WAIRUNGA and LOCK-IN concert films for Fat Freddy’s Drop, and it was made with support of NZ On Air.

New Rhombus album After Party digital release is Friday 27 May, featuring 11 fresh tracks including “Treat You So Right” and first single release “Your Love” that delve into dub, reggae, hip hop, funk, jazz and electronic vibes.

Long-time Rhombus vocalists Lisa Tomlins, Raashi Malik and Warrior Queen mix in with newcomers to the group Maree Lawn and TK Paradza. The incredible talents of Matthew Allison (NZSO), Kirstin Eade (NZSO) and Lex French (The Jac) round out the sound with astonishing performances.

After Party was produced between Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Ōtautahi, mixed at the Rhombus studio under the direction of founders and producers Thomas Voyce, Simon Rycroft and Koa Williams and mastered by Rhombus collaborator Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering in Berlin. After Party was made with support from Creative New Zealand and aroha.
